Accessibility
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Winquill should work for everyone who bids for public contracts, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or captions. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA in the Winquill dashboard at app.tenda.eshmere.ai.
What you can do
- Use every page with a keyboard. A "Skip to content" link comes first, and focus is always visible.
- Use a screen reader. Pages have landmarks and headings, and buttons and fields have names.
- Choose a light or dark theme, or follow your device. Text in both meets the contrast WCAG asks for.
- Turn down motion. Winquill follows your device's reduce motion setting.
- Turn on captions in the tutorial videos with the CC button. Each video also has chapters you can jump to.
How we checked
On 22 October 2026 we ran an automated check (axe) on Winquill's ten busiest pages, in both themes, and went through the code of the pages you see once signed in. We fixed what we found: the tutorial videos now have captions, and the video player now tells screen readers what it is. We check again when we make larger changes.
What isn't fully accessible yet
- Tender notices and documents come from the buyers who publish them. Winquill shows their wording as it is, and their PDFs and forms may not be accessible.
- Sign-in and account pages are provided by Clerk, our sign-in service.
- Winquill in ChatGPT, Claude, Slack and Microsoft Teams shows inside those apps, so their own accessibility applies too.
